Stewart-Amos Sweeper Co. has been in business since 1938, manufacturing chassis-mounted mechanical broom and regenerative air sweepers since 2004. We offer a wide range of sweeper models, available in both non-CDL and CDL configurations, designed with an “effectively simple” approach for ease of operation and maintenance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our Galaxy regenerative air models feature a 4.6 Cu\/yd, 72-inch dumpster height dump to large ground dump models with a 6.1 Cu\/yd hopper. All models include an exclusive EZ screen clean-out system for post-shift maintenance and a Grade 304 stainless steel hopper with a limited lifetime warranty. Dual fuel options are available on select models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Starfire mechanical broom models are available with 4.0 Cu\/yd, 4.5 Cu\/yd, and 6.0 Cu\/yd hoppers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All our auxiliary engines are reliable Kubota industrial non-DEF series, backed by a 2-year\/2000-hour Kubota warranty. Our sweepers can be mounted on an Isuzu NRR, FTR, Freightliner M2, or an approved chassis of your choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our latest flagship model, the Starfire S-4XL, mounted on the Isuzu FTR 26k non-CDL cabover chassis, has been exceptionally well received. It features a popular Cummins diesel engine and Allison transmission, offering a tight turning radius, enhanced visibility, a wide three-seat configuration, and a state-of-the-art, dash-mounted control pad with one-touch sweep mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
